In case you haven’t heard of them yet, Pestle & Mortar are an Irish-based skincare brand. They initially caught my attention due to their minimalistic approach to skincare as well as their chic packaging. The company prides itself on a capsule range of skincare products mixing together both science and nature. Beauty products are so complicated these days with so many steps and so many life-changing promises… it’s refreshing to find a brand with an ultra-minimalist style that’s purely based on driven results and efficacy.
A couple of weeks back I was blessed to receive the newly released *Kiko Daily Protection BB Cream along with a couple of products from the Mini Divas 20th Anniversary collection (review here). I have been a fan of Kiko Cosmetics for around 5/6 years, and can you believe that Kiko has been making cosmetics for 20 years? Anyway, as a huge lover of both Kiko and BB Creams, I was super excited to put this BB cream to the test…
Pixi has been on a roll with their new releases this year and I have really enjoyed dabbling in more of their makeup items. Summertime is all about ‘less is more’. Especially when it comes to makeup. I am all about fresh looking natural makeup throughout the warmer months. Not just because it’s more youthful but also because in the heat any heavy makeup will just melt off. This summer, Pixi Beauty launched the new Sheer Beauty collection* consisting of lightweight sheer cheek gels, and gel tint + silk gloss duos. Aiming to help enhance your natural beauty while letting your skin breathe…
The first thing i noticed when this box arrived on my doorstep was the beautiful uplifting scent. Once again this months Mintd Box did not disappoint and they saved the best box for their 1st birthday. A big Congratulations Mintd Box. Originally i was not going to get this months box as i had been slow reviewing the previous two boxes due to stuff going on in my personal life, and i really don’t like letting people down. However I created a new blog and last week i decided i really wanted to review it after i failed trying to get my hands on the Oskia serum included in this box, and i am so glad i did. I discovered more amazing brands this month! I swear this entire box just feels like it was made for me, as we all know i have a penchant for anything that will make my skin glow! Especially when it comes to skincare…
The aim of the ‘Holiday Beauty Prep’ box is about getting your body summer ready. Leaving your skin renewed, refreshed and glowing from head to toe ready for the warm days to follow, where more skin is on show. This particular box might not be one that intrigues everyone like the previous boxes couple of boxes before, especially if you are most interested in facial skincare products. However i personally have really enjoyed all of the products in this box, and will definitely be repurchasing a few of them when they are used up. I received this box a little later than usual and i always like to try every product out before sharing my opinion, but better late than never i say.
The Upkeep Box was my 2nd subscription box from Mintd. Released in April midway through spring, its goal was to keep up healthy and glowy skin following on from The Spring Clean Box (review here). Every month Mintd create a new globally-on-trend luxury subscription box. Unlike other beauty boxes out there Mintd Beauty boxes consist of only premium and luxury brands, which are stocked through sites like Space NK, Selfridges, Style.com and Beauty Expert. If you are someone like myself who holds that Quality over Quantity rule, then Mintd Box really has your name all over it.
