Rosalena Goodness & Tonic Facial Mist | Full Size 50ml – £22

If there was ever a face mist to describe summer it would be this mist. It was honestly love at first use. Refresh and revive both your skin and your senses with finely-milled, cooling face mist that’s energizing and rejuvenating. This mist has firm become a favourite of mine this summer and has been a staple in my handbag throughout the warm weather days. I reach for it if i’m feeling fatigued and need a little pick me up. I’ve found that every time i have pulled it out everyone has asked about it and insisted on using, so much so its almost all gone (sad face). It is beautifully sweet yet fresh and crisp, due to its uplifting and nose-tingling citrus notes. This face mist is incredibly refreshing and awakening, plus the compact size makes it absolutely perfect for travel or out and about in your handbag. Trust me, if you are travelling anywhere hot or are due to be on a long haul flight, this will be a skin saviour (and mind lol)! I have to say that this is my favourite product yet from Rosalena. I find Rosalena as a brand to have high quality products and positive ethos, which makes me admire the brand even more. They also use non toxic ingredients and you wont find a single paraben in sight. If you purchase any product from this box, let it be this!

Ingredients: Aqua, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Sweet Orange) Peel Oil**, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) oil**, Citrus Bergamia (Bergamot) Oil**, Citric Acid, PlantPreserve TM***, Hydroessential Melissa, Hydroessential Flores Aurantii, Fersenol*, Geranoil*, Limonen*, Linalool*. * naturally occurring ingredients ** organic *** Rosalena’s unique plant based and naturally toxin free preserving ingredient

Bliss Triple Oxygen UV Protection Moisturiser | Full Size 50ml –  £35 / $46

My friend Kelly (kellilash.com) raved about this product numerous times, so i was a little excited to see it in this Mintd box. The best feature about the Bliss Triple Oxygen Ultimate Protection UV Moisturiser is the packaging. The plastic tube and pump action makes this perfect for travel, unlike traditional screw tap squeezy tubes that can come undone in your bag leak over its entire contents. So well done Bliss, other companies should take note. Ingredients like Vitamin C, Green Tea and Soy protein help to protect the skin and heal any possible damage. Grapeseed Extract helps prevent the degradation of collagen and elastin in the skin, and Mulberry Root Extract & White Lily Extracts help to protect the skin from free radicals, while soothing and hydrating creating brighter skin. It contains sun protection of 33 and Bliss claims that it provides the skin with 360-protection. Which comes from the Chemical Sunscreen ingredients, these are often referred to as chemical or organic absorbers. Chemical sunscreens contain organic (carbon-based) compounds (like oxybenzone, octinoxate, octisalate and avobenzone) which help to create a chemical reaction and work by changing UV rays into heat, and then release the heat from the skin. Though this form of sunscreen lasts longer on the skin, and wears better if you are doing any physical activity where you sweat or are wet, it risks possibly causing an increase in existing brown spots and discoloration, due to a higher internal skin temperature. It also has a stronger chance of skin irritation, especially if you have sensitive, dry or compromised skin with a damaged moisture barrier. This is why i personally either opt for a Physical sunscreen or a Chemical and Physical combination. Personally i find that my skin suffocates with many products that contain a high amount of Chemical Sunscreen filters, and that explains why i felt that this moisturiser felt heavy on my skin, and made me sweat more. However i feel that my skin could cope with this moisturiser better in the winter months. Though it does have a slight sunscreen smell bliss have added fragrance that smells a little citrus-like, kind of like juicy satsumas. So if you are sensitive to fragrance you might not like this, however i like the scent and its not too potent or overwhelming. I also like the subtle peach tint to this moisturiser, as i find that it helps to brighten up the complexion.

Ingredients: Active ingredients: avobenzone 3.0% sunscreen, ensulizole 2.0% sunscreen, octocrylene 7.0% sunscreen, oxybenzone 5.0% sunscreen. Inactive ingredients: water (aqua/eau), octyldodecyl neopentanoate, butylene glycol, glycerin, C12-15 alkyl benzoate, cetyl alcohol, diethylhexyl 2,6-naphthalate, phenethyl benzoate, arginine, caprylyl methicone, camellia sinensis leaf extract, prunus armeniaca (apricot) kernel oil, morus alba root extract, vaccinium macrocarpon (cranberry) fruit extract, sodium hyaluronate, pearl powder, hydrogenated lecithin, hydrolyzed soy protein, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, hydrolyzed wheat protein, euterpe oleracea fruit extract, punica granatum (pomegranate) extract, glycine soja (soybean) oil, tocopherol, lecithin, vitis vinifera (grape) seed extract, tripeptide-1, cyclodextrin, allium sativum (garlic) bulb extract, lepidium sativum sprout extract, glyceryl stearate, fragrance (parfum), sodium acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, PEG-100 stearate, potassium cetyl phosphate, isohexadecane, caprylyl glycol, xanthan gum, decarboxy carnosine HCL, 1,2-hexanediol, polysorbate 80, perfluorohexane, perfluoroperhydrophenanthrene, ethylbisiminomethylguaiacol manganese chloride, tetrahydrodiferuloylmethane, perfluorodimethylcyclohexane, tetrahydrodemethoxydiferuloylmethane, tetrahydrobisdemethoxydiferuloylmethane, perfluorodecalin, phenoxyethanol, disodium EDTA, citral, limonene, linalool, yellow 5 (CI 19140), red 4 (CI 14700)

Aurelia Miracle Cleanser & Cloth Duo | Travel Size 30ml – £14 / 120ml Full Size £38 / $62

Aurelia is one of my favourite British skincare brands! Who pride themselves off of clean and gentle skincare products that work for all skin types, especially those with sensitive or compromised skin. 3 words that instantly spring to mind to describe Aurelia are clean, luxurious and healing. The Miracle cleanser has been a favourite of mine for a couple of years now, and its so gentle that even both of my daughters use it (both have started puberty and have experienced skin changes). I have found this to help make such a difference with their skin. The cleanser is creamy but without being too rich that it glides seamlessly over the skin, removing all impurities of the day. I use this as my second cleanse following an oil cleanser, and find that i gravitate towards this during the Autumn and Winter months, when my skin is a little more delicate, compromised and i’m just feeling a little sluggish. The aromatic scent of Eucalyptus, Chamomile, Rosemary and Bergamot is incredibly awakening and refreshing. Usually i am not a fan of anything Eucalyptus, however this product is one of the rare eucalyptus scented products i can use as it’s not overpowering. The travel size tube is perfect and surprisingly will last you a long time! The bamboo muslin cloth is incredibly gentle and even though my daughters enjoy using these i prefer a thicker washcloth, but that’s personal preference. All the ingredients are organic and Aurelia are very passionate about the use of probiotics, that they have based their entire skincare line around them. Then of course you cannot help but notice their pretty pink, girly packaging. If you are someone with dry, sensitive, mature or acne prone skin you will love this delicate cleanser. Also if you have young children take a look at their new line Little Aurelia.

Ingredients: Aqua/Water (purified water), Dicapryly carbonate (coconut-derived cleanser & emollient), Cetearyl alcohol (vegetable based thickener), Glycerin (vegetable glycerine), Cocoglycerides (emollient from coconut oil), Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), Glyceryl stearate (natural glycerides & thickener), Cetearyl glucoside (corn sugar emulsifier), Rhus verniciflua peel wax (berry wax), Theobroma cacoa (cocoa butter), Kigelia Africana fruit extract (Botanical Kigelia Africana ), Hibiscus sabdariffa flower extract (Hibiscus flower), Adansonia digitata fruit extract (Botanical Baobab),Lactose (probiotic bifidoculture milk extract), Lactis proteinum/Milk protein (probiotic protein), Bifida ferment lysate (probiotic culture), Schinziophyton Rautanenii kernel oil (Botanical Ubuntu Mongongo oil), Panthenol ( Pro-vitamin B5), Sodium ascorbyl phosphate (Vitamin C), Rosmarinus officinalis leaf oil (Rosemary essential oil), Citrus aurantium bergamia peel oil (Bergamot essential oil), Anthemis nobilis oil (Chamomile essential oil), Eucalyptus globulus leaf oil (Eucalyptus essential oil), Xanthan gum (natural based stabilizer), Sodium stearoyl glutamate (naturally derived emulsifier), Tocopheryl acetate (Vitamin E), Benzyl alcohol (preservative), Dehydroacetic acid (preservative), Citric acid (fruit derived pH regulator), Limonene*, Linalool* *naturally occurring in essential oil

Lauren Napier ‘The Weekly’ Facial Wipes | Deluxe Size (5 Sachets) – £8 / $10

I had heard of Lauren Napier briefly last summer but it wasn’t a brand that i remembered until this Mintd box. Included was ‘The Weekly’ Deluxe travel size box, that contains 5 individually-wrapped facial cleansing wipes that are compact enough to just slot in anyway. Like your gym-bag after a workout, in your desk drawer if your someone who likes to cleanse and refresh midday and they even fit in a pocket making them perfect for a day at the beach or overnight at concert or camping. They are just super handy and are neither too saturated nor too dry in texture, which i really like. Usually not a fan of wipes i found myself very surprised liking these, in fact i have used all of them up now after using them on days out in the sweltering heat. They have a very subtle sweet fragrance to them, that i find relaxing, and unlike many other wipes they do not irritate my skin (these are the only other face wipes that haven’t). Aloe Vera, Oat Kernal Extract, Chamomilla and Cucumber help to hydrate and soothe whilst removing impurities, so that your skin is left feeling nourished and cleansed, but not stripped or dry. I would never recommend using just wipes to cleanse your face, however if you are ever in a pinch and cannot get to a sink then i highly recommend these as they are some of the best, effective and gentle face wipes i have ever used.

Ingredients: Water, Polysorbate 20, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Cucumber Extract, Marshmallow Root Extract, Oat Kernel Extract, Citric Acid, Poly Sorbate 20, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol, Potassium Sorbate, Fragrance.

Miller Harris Lumiere Doree Hand Cream | Full Size 75ml – £18

I loved the scent of the Body wash in last months box so i was super excited to see they also had a hand cream, yay! Like with all Miller Harris products the hand cream is decadent and luxurious, in both scent and texture. I also contemporary off-grey tube and generous amount of product you receive. Shea butter and Argan Oil make it intensely hydrating for even the most driest of hands. I have a bad habit of biting around my nails and i don’t find this irritates my skin at all. I find it absorbs beautifully into the skin without leaving a greasy or slippery residue behind, leaving behind only a delicate and beautiful citrus scent that is almost identical to the Emma Hardie Moringa cleansing balm. Everyone in my house has thoroughly enjoyed using this hand cream, including any guests who use the bathroom. The scent is honestly breathtaking and so refreshing and uplifting. The Rose Silence body cream is now calling my name to try out for the autumn & winter months ahead, and of course next year i will be making sure to get the Eau De Parfum in the Lumiere Doree scent in time for the Spring & Summer.

Smith & Cult B-Line Waterproof Eyeliner | Full Size – £21 / $26

Smith & Cult have been a brand that’s been on my radar for a while, even despite their recent drama surrounding a choice of name for a one of their products. Everyone makes mistakes and deserves the right to correct them, so i personally won’t hold it against them. Being a fan of liquid liner i was really happy to see their liquid liner in this months box, as this was on my radar along with this and this. The colour pay off is opaque, intense and rich. If you are after an extremely black liquid eyeliner pen then you will love this. Personally i prefer brush liner tips like the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner or Dolly Wink liquid liner, as i have small lids and its easy to make my liner too thick with a felt tin applicator. However i have been wearing this a lot recently and its incredibly easy to work with. I find it to be quick drying and long wearing, however i do not find it to be waterproof as it transfers under the eyes on me, but then around 98% of eyeliners do (yes even waterproof, mascaras also – its tragic). I have extremely sensitive and watery eyes, along with oily eyelids, so nothing stays put…. not even Inglots AMC liner with Duraline!!! I’ve just had to accept that transfer is something that will always happen with me. The liquid liners by Tom Ford, Burberry, DHC & L’Oreal transferred much more on me though. The Smith & Cult B-Line Liner doesn’t flake on me at all, and even when transferring the line stays as black and opaque as when i first applied it! I just noticed that they do this liner in Shhh, which is a dark brown, which i think i will invest in as it will be a bit more forgiving when it transfers. All in all, i think it’s the perfect staple to throw in your handbag to take your makeup look from day to night with simplicity, while having fun on your vacation or a night out.

Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Butylene Glycol, Beheneth-30, Sodium Polyaspartate, Alcohol, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Hydroxide, Acrylates/Octylacrylamide Copolymer, Disodium EDTA, Tromethamine, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Dehydroacetate, CI 77266 (Carbon Black)

Stephie Anne Anemone Silk Eye Mask – £23

The Anemone silk eye mask has a pretty and feminine lilac and periwinkle watercolor print, that’s almost a distorted floral print. It’s so pretty! Stephanie Ann has 5 different prints of the silk eye masks (all of which you can view here). The other 4 prints are called Dawn, Eve, Midnight & Viola. Viola and Anemone are definitely my favourite prints, both are so feminine, girly and chic. The silk is extremely luxurious and incredibly soft, and i find this the perfect sleep companion along with my Silke Hair Wrap. Each eye mask has a unique print and is padded and lined with black silk for extra block out of the light, along with being infused with relaxing lavender. Due to the padding the eye mask is a little thicker than other masks, which i really like. However the elastic band is not that stretchy as some others on the market and i personally don’t think i have a large head lol, but anyone with a bigger head than me might find this a little tight to get on. If you are someone who struggles to sleep at night, or your going on a long-haul flight for your vacation then i would highly, highly recommend this. Its extremely comfortable to wear and will give you the best nights sleep, or midday nap you have ever had, during these light and bright long-summer days. I have tried a fair few eye masks over the years and this is definitely one of the most luxurious sleep masks i have come across. Plus the quality and price is also fantastic. If she did silk pillowcases, i would be all over them.
