As of recent I have been quite the creature of comfort when it comes to the makeup products I use on the daily. I mean if it works and it isn’t broken, why fix it, right? For a while there I didn’t even wear eyeshadow for months! I think I just lost passion in it and became too lazy to want to do my eyeshadow – ugh #hoodedeyeproblems. However I’ve had many of you ask me what products have been giving my face the glow it currently has this summer, so I thought I would share a few posts with you. Starting with the makeup edition and following up with skincare….
A couple of weeks back I was blessed to receive the newly released *Kiko Daily Protection BB Cream along with a couple of products from the Mini Divas 20th Anniversary collection (review here). I have been a fan of Kiko Cosmetics for around 5/6 years, and can you believe that Kiko has been making cosmetics for 20 years? Anyway, as a huge lover of both Kiko and BB Creams, I was super excited to put this BB cream to the test…
Pixi has been on a roll with their new releases this year and I have really enjoyed dabbling in more of their makeup items. Summertime is all about ‘less is more’. Especially when it comes to makeup. I am all about fresh looking natural makeup throughout the warmer months. Not just because it’s more youthful but also because in the heat any heavy makeup will just melt off. This summer, Pixi Beauty launched the new Sheer Beauty collection* consisting of lightweight sheer cheek gels, and gel tint + silk gloss duos. Aiming to help enhance your natural beauty while letting your skin breathe…
I must admit I was a little giddy when I saw the Kiko Mini Divas collection. An adorably cute collection in collaboration with designer bag company Benedetta BruZZiches, to celebrate 20 years of bringing us top quality cosmetics. Happy 20th Kiko! Of course, it’s no surprise that Kiko is one of my all-time favourite beauty brands, due to them supplying great quality products and super affordable prices. Just like MAC, they do regular limited edition collections, but best of all they do frequent Sales! Which I, of course, take advantage of every year!
Mintd box has been one of my best discoveries of 2017 and within each box i discover more and more amazing products that make it into my favourites (like this, this and this). This months box was equally as amazing as the previous ones. The ‘Travel Beauty Essentials’ beauty box was the box that released in June and consisted of 5 full size and 2 deluxe-size products. As with all Mintd Box each and every products is of the highest quality and from an array of luxury beauty stores like Space NK, Net-a-Porter and Harvey Nichols. The box retails for £65 and has a value is £142, saving you a total of £77 off of the retail value. You can view my previous Mintd Box reviews here.
PUR Cosmetics is a mineral based cruelty-free cosmetics brand that I first discovered a couple of years back on youtube. However, at that time none of their products were available in the UK, so it was hard to get my hands on any products I was lusting after. Then Beauty Bay came to the rescue and started stocking their products, hooray. I started out with one of their limited edition eyeshadow palettes, followed by their popular 4-In-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup Foundation. Which immediately became a permanent fixture in my everyday makeup rotation. So I was super excited when both of their new Vanity Palettes arrived on my doorstep….
